Our TK program prepares students for kindergarten success in a supportive, Christ-centered community where learning and faith go hand in hand.

Our full-day Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program at St. Helen Catholic School bridges the important step between preschool and kindergarten, providing a caring, faith-filled environment where children continue to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

• Full-Day Program: TK is a full-day class with a full-time teacher and a half-day aide supporting students throughout the day.
• Faith and Prayer: Students participate in daily religion lessons and learn to practice their faith through prayer. Prayers are said at the beginning and end of the school day, before and after meals, and during school Mass services.
• Age Requirement: Children must be 4 years old by September 1st to enroll in the TK program.
• Curriculum: The TK curriculum builds on early learning foundations and emphasizes kindergarten readiness in reading, writing, and math skills, while promoting curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
• Rest Time: Students have a scheduled nap or quiet time each afternoon to help them recharge and refocus.
• Uniforms: Wearing the St. Helen school uniform helps build pride, unity, and a sense of belonging in our school community.
